In celebration of the relaunch of 3D Violet, we collaborated with Artist Curtis Bullock(known as @savethepostalservice on Instagram), Santa Cruz Bicycles, and SRAM to create a custom painted Stigmata, outfitted with SRAM Force AXS components, ZIPP cockpit, and our GRD23 wheels. Curtis also designed graphics for a limited edition t-shirt and water bottle, available for purchase now HERE.
Curtis has a vibrant graphic style inspired by Pop Art and bright colors of the 80's and 90's. You may have seen his work before - he's known for intricate custom paintwork on bicycles, somehow able to balance complex patterns and bright colors into harmony.
Curtis's inspiration for this frame: "One of the big things that I was trying to complement with my design, were the large gestures that already exist on the frame. Big tubes, really big junctions, and a beefy but still lightweight fork. I scaled up a few of the shapes I have used in the past, and I also enlarged the pattern sections to try to emphasize the shapes the frame gave me to work with."
