On October 14th 2017 we held our second annual Open House and expanded the weekend with our Industry Summit the day before.
The idea is simple, invite some of our favorite builders and industry partners, serve some beer, and hangout with anyone who wants to walk through the door.
We had builder bikes on display as well as some specially equipped bikes from ENVE and Santa Cruz. Throughout the day we offered factory floor tours, more detailed than our normal monthly tours that cannot enter the active shop floor. It was tight quarters with about 100 people on each tour and 1200 in attendance for the day.
It was tight quarters on the builder row where; Allied, Argonaut, Breadwinner, Caletti, Crema, DeSalvo, Doppo, and Moots displayed custom bikes built around the launch of our Matte Punch components.
It wouldn't be a Chris King event without some fine cheese and charcuterie.
At the end of the afternoon as we were beginning to pack up the show bikes, we couldn't help but jump on Greg Minnaar's 2017 World Cup bike and take it for a few laps down the front steps. After getting Syndicate Manager Doug Hatfield's blessing and had some fun Chris King came down to give it a try himself.
