Webster’s definition on the word Base: noun \ˈbās\ : the bottom or lowest part of something : the part on which something rests or is supported. In regards to this new purpose built frame, you can think of gravel as being that base. The base to roads that wind and twist and even two-wheel drift a bit when they haven’t been paved.
The Cielo Base Racer will excel on all these roads. With adjusted road geometry that accommodates up to a 38mm tire (32mm with fenders installed), you have the room to dial in your set up for whatever you are setting out on. With the Chris King T47 threaded bottom bracket give PF30 shell stiffness with threaded bottom bracket security. To finish it off, the Base Racer is paired with a paint to match ENVE GRD fork.

*Asymmetrical chainstays provide a longer chainstay on the right side (drive side) for reduced weight and increased stiffness. The shorter chainstay on the left side (non-driveside) allows room for disc brake calipers. Due to the asymmetry of the chainstay layout, clearance between the tires and the chainstays can appear different from left to right side.
