Moots has been at the forefront of cycling and titanium innovation since the early 90s, after ten years of working with steel. The first titanium Moots came off the frame jig in 1991, ushering in a never ending pursuit of titanium perfection.

Moots' history is full of milestones but here are a few of my favorites:

The Psychlo-x yBBeat cyclocross frames, introduced in 1996, was like no other, featuring Moots' YBB suspension design. In 1997 Ruthie Matthes won the National X-Country title, in Park City, Utah, on her Moots YBB. Two years later, in 1999, Moots grew their lineup with the Mooto-X YBB, the first 29er in their line, nearly a decade before the 29er took a solid foothold in the market.

Following a decade of building, Moots revamped their road line, unveiling the light, stiff, and elegant Vamoots RSL. Moots' quality and craftsmanship has never ceased, Moots' Psychlo X RSL was recognized at the 2012 North American handmade Bike Show as the Best Cyclocross bike and took home CX Magazine's "Dream Bike" award.

These are just a few highlights from one of the oldest U.S. made titanium bike builders and why we were proud to launch and develop out 2017 Limited Edition Matte Emerald in tandem with Moots.

We developed our new matte finish with titanium in mind, and Moots called on 36 years of experience to build this immaculate Routt RSL. To really make it come together, they sent us all of the aluminum finishing on the bike to take a dip in our new Limited Edition Matte Emerald, and they added Emerald decals to match. If you're green with envy don't wait around, Limited Edition matte Emerald is only available until June 12th!

Alright, enough talk, on to the pics!
